NAIL DRILL BITS

ENII NAILS comes with a new collection of abrasive nail cutters. We have included in our portfolio high-quality nail milling machines with a very wide range, where each of you will definitely choose.

What exactly are nail cutters? How are they divided and what criteria do you need to know for your work? This is what this article is about. You can then find the milling machines in our e-shop, where there is a detailed description of the individual milling machines.

_________

These are various attachments for grinders for instrumental manicure or pedicure. Nail cutters enable fast and hygienic work when adjusting nails. This is a very efficient and fast grinding of the material, perfect removal of the superficial blank, removal of the cuticle. They are used on dry nails without the use of a softener. The use of milling machines is safe even when working in problem areas. However, you need to have experience and be very careful. Instrumental manicure is not suitable for children, people with little or no experience. There is a high risk of injury.

NAIL DRILL BITS DIVIDE:

  • ACCORDING TO USE
  • BY ROUGHNESS
  • BY SHAPE

We use nail milling machines either for material or for natural nails. It is very important to distinguish this to avoid injury or damage to the natural nail. Furthermore, milling machines are divided according to the roughness - from super fine to super coarse. Again, it is important to consider using them. And finally SHAPE. Milling machines have countless possible shapes. Each shape has a function and suits everyone differently. It is good to try more options and usually you will settle on a maximum of 3 to 5 milling machines, with which you will do everything.

NAIL DRILL BITS ACCORDING TO USE
We use milling machines either for sanding or finishing the material or for natural nails. This is very important to distinguish.

NAIL DRILL BITS FOR PLASTIC NAILS
We most often come across names - carbide, tungsten, ceramic or titanium. All belong to hard and very durable materials.

The best and most expensive of carbide is Tungsten Carbide - one of the hardest and most durable materials on the market. Tungsten is an extremely hard, difficult-to-melt metal. Due to its properties, the milling machine does not heat up during operation. Transverse grooves ensure maximum efficiency and speed of work. It is very sharp and guarantees a long life of the cutter. Characteristic of these cutters is top processing, permanent sharpness and perfect balance enabling pleasant work without any vibrations. They are corrosion resistant. They can be disinfected and sterilized without any problems. Suitable for sanding all materials (acrylic, poly gel, gel, rubber, with care also gel varnish and rocklac).

Another, quite often used material is ceramics - Thanks to the construction and the material from which they are made, these milling machines do not heat up during work. Ceramic milling machines do not transmit vibrations to the customer's fingernail. They are sharp, durable and have a long life. The advantage of ceramic milling machines is that they are anti-allergenic and thus suitable for clients with metal allergies. It can be disinfected and sterilized without any problems. These are also suitable for sanding all materials (acrylic, poly gel, gel, rubber, with caution and gel varnish and rocklac).

NAIL DRILL BITS FOR NATURAL NAILS
Diamond cutters are the most suitable and best for natural nails. They are made of durable carbide coated with a diamond cut.

DIAMOND - Diamond is the hardest known natural mineral (mineral), it is a crystalline form of carbon C. In the Mohs scale it has a hardness of 10 (highest) and is, for example, 140 times harder than corundum (it has the number 9 on the hardness scale). Another of its properties is its resistance to acids and high thermal conductivity. Diamonds were formed by crystallization millions of years ago in the depths of the Earth, by applying high pressures and temperatures to other forms of carbon. Only about 20% of mined (natural) diamonds are sufficiently pure and properly colored for use in jewelry, 80% of diamonds are used industrially - mainly as part of cutting, grinding and drilling diamond tools or as an abrasive (paste, powder).

Diamond milling cutters are especially suitable for natural nails. It is used to grind the superficial blank, to adjust and remove the cuticle around the nail bed. They also allow the modification of nail walls, cracks, calluses even for pedicure needs. Working with diamond cutters is hygienic, fast and precise. We choose the right shape and roughness as needed. Diamond cutters can also be used to sharpen nails. The most common use is for a deep manicure. ATTENTION! If you do not have enough experience, injuries can occur. The natural nail is only about
removing greasy film from the nail. You must not sand the nail plate with them, but only the superficial blank or cuticle.

When using a diamond cutter, it recommends low speed on your grinder.

NAIL DRILL BITS ACCORDING TO ROUGHNESS
The roughness of milling machines is divided into 6 types. It is experienced that the milling cutters are divided by a colored strip and the individual color determines the roughness of the diamond grain or the size of the grooves.

barvy hrubostien

roughness colorsWe choose the roughness in proportion to the power we want to perform. Another aspect should be the material we want to grind. An important criterion when choosing the roughness of a milling machine should be feeling. We assume that we do not take super coarse on the cuticle and super fine on the acrylic.

NAIL DRILL BITS BY SHAPE
There are countless shapes. Something different suits everyone. However, the most common shapes are flame (tear, drop, egg, cone), cone, cylinder, tip.

They can have different lengths, widths and roundings. It is ideal to take a course or simply try what will suit you.

HOW TO CARE FOR BITS
Clean the router with each brush. Attention! Do not use metal brushes to clean the cutters, as this will blunt the cutters very quickly and shorten their service life and service life. We recommend cleaning the milling machines in a sterilizer or ultrasonic washer after each customer. If the milling machines are not cleaned (especially diamond), they become clogged and their grinding performance is reduced.

TIP:

  • To prevent injuries, it is very important to take care of fixing the hand when sanding. The support of the hand protects us from the possible slipping of the hand holding the sanding pen.
  • Pay attention to the sawing direction! Most milling machines have special notches, which then allow sawing in only one direction. In the case of sawing against the direction of the notches, there is a risk of so-called "kicking" by the milling machine. This moment is very unpleasant for both you and the customer.
  • Never work with the grinders at full speed. This puts a heavy load on the motor and does not speed up grinding. If the speed is too high, the material does not fall out of the milling machine during grinding and remains between the cuts. This floods the milling machine and significantly reduces the grinding performance.
  • Adapt the speed to the type of milling machine and your skills. Choose another speed for the material, others for the natural nail.
  • When sanding, it is necessary to achieve a smooth movement of the milling machine or attachment along the nail. If you stop in one place while sanding, there is a risk of burns or sanding of the nail plate. If you do not have the necessary skill or confidence, it is better to reduce the grinding speed. This will prevent possible injury.
